Mousumi Bose is a post-doctoral research fellow working with Dr. Blandine Laferr¨¨re on the role of gastrointestinal hormones on weight loss and glucose homeostasis. She received her BS in Physiology/Neurobiology from the University of Maryland at College Park and her PhD in Nutritional Sciences from Rutgers University.

RESEARCH INTERESTS:

• GI hormone regulation of glucose homeostasis and satiety
• Changes in glucose homeostasis following diet-induced and surgical weight loss
