Dr. Evan S. Berk is currently a postdoctoral research fellow at the New York Obesity Research Center. His current research interest includes examining physiological mechanisms that may be related to the increased prevalence of obesity in African American women. Dr. Berk received his B.S. with Honors from Cornell University. His undergraduate research examined olfactory function. He received his M.A., MPhil and Ph.D. from the Institute of Human Nutrition, Columbia University under the mentorship of Drs. Jeanine Albu and Xavier Pi-Sunyer.
