Christopher N. Ochner, Ph.D.

Christopher Ochner is a Assistant Professor of Clinical Psychology working on human outcomes research. He received a MA in social and personality psychology from American University and a PhD in clinical psychology from Drexel University working under Dr. Michael Lowe. Dr. Ochner is a former adjunct professor at The University of the Sciences in Philadelphia as well as Drexel University. He is also a former intern at the University of Pennsylvania Weight and Eating Disorder Center under Dr. Gary Foster. Dr. Ochner is currently coordinating an NIH funded grant entitled; "fMRI and Ghrelin in Obesity and Binge Eating Disorder", as well as a Robert Wood Johnson Foundation funded grant entitled; "Effect of Pricing on Purchase of Low- Calorie Foods and Change in Body Weight". His main area of interest is the study of environmentally based approaches towards weight control.
