A post-doctoral fellowship program is available at the National Institutes of Health-funded NY Obesity Research Center (ORC) at St. Luke's/Roosevelt Hospital and Columbia University. These positions entail working collaboratively with an interdisciplinary group of scientists. The ORC studies virtually all aspects of obesity ranging from molecular biology to epidemiology. Investigators include molecular biologists, physicians, psychologists, statisticians, physiologists, nutritionists, and engineers. The goal of this program is to train scientists to be independent investigators in obesity research.
Individuals with an M.D. or Ph.D. degree from any field are eligible. Women and individuals from traditionally disadvantaged groups are encouraged to apply.
