May 18, 2010 Dear Colleague: I am now beginning to compile a list of speakers for the 2010-2011 Columbia University Seminar on Appetitive Behavior. If you would like to speak, please fill out the invitation below. If I have suggested to you during the past year that giving a seminar next year would be a good idea, please accept this as a FORMAL invitation to speak. (I only send out individual invitations to speakers who are not part of this e-mail list.) If you would like to suggest a speaker, please indicate that also. Seminar arrangements will be made during early June. I would appreciate having this form returned as soon as possible, but no later than June 4, 2010. Thank you for your help. IF YOU KNOW OF ANYONE FROM OUTSIDE OUR IMMEDIATE AREA WHO MAY BE COMING TO NY ON OTHER BUSINESS NEAR OUR DATES, PLEASE PASS THIS ALONG. OUR RESOURCES ARE LIMITED, BUT WE ENCOURAGE OUTSIDE SPEAKERS WHEN POSSIBLE. Reasonably firm dates for next year are: 2010 - Sept 16, Oct 14, Nov 4, Dec 2
They are all first Thursdays, except Sept (before labor day and the second is Jewish New Year) October (conflict with Obesity Society) and Jan (faculty house closed until mid month) If you recognize any conflicts with major meetings, holidays or other events, please let me know IMMEDIATELY.
