Earle C. Chambers, Ph.D.

Dr. Earle C. Chambers, Ph.D. Dr. Earle Chambers is a postdoctoral research fellow at the New York Obesity Research Center. His current research interest is in lung function and insulin resistance in populations of African descent. He completed his B.S. in Biology at Duke University in 1996 and his Masters of Public Health at the University of Illinois at Chicago, School of Public Health in 1999. His doctoral work was conducted at the University of Pittsburgh, Graduate School of Public Health where he received his Ph.D. in epidemiology in 2003. His dissertation examined the relationship of birth weight and psychosocial stress with insulin resistance in African Caribbean adolescents.
