May 9, 2008 Dear Colleague: I am now beginning to compile a list of speakers for the 2008-2009 Columbia University Seminar on Appetitive Behavior. If you would like to speak, please fill out the invitation below. If I have suggested to you during the past year that giving a seminar next year would be a good idea, please accept this as a FORMAL invitation to speak. (I only send out individual invitations to speakers who are not part of this e-mail list.) If you would like to suggest a speaker, please indicate that also. Seminar arrangements will be made during early June. I would appreciate having this form returned as soon as possible, but no later than May 20, 2008. Thank you for your help. IF YOU KNOW OF ANYONE FROM OUTSIDE OUR IMMEDIATE AREA WHO MAY BE COMING TO NY ON OTHER BUSINESS NEAR OUR DATES, PLEASE PASS THIS ALONG. OUR RESOURCES ARE LIMITED, BUT WE ENCOURAGE OUTSIDE SPEAKERS WHEN POSSIBLE. Reasonably firm dates for next year are: 2008 - Sept 4, Oct 16, Nov 6, Dec 4
They are all first Thursdays, except October which conflicts with NAASO and Jan (which is New Years). If you recognize any conflicts with major meetings, holidays or other events, please let me know IMMEDIATELY. Thanks for your help. Sincerely,
